Contemplative Prayer Class

  • St. Paul's Indy 6050 North Meridian Street Indianapolis, IN 46208 United States (map)

Sundays, March 5, 12, 19; April 16, 23; May 7, 14
Held in Room 207, Parish Center Building

Contemplative prayer has been described as “the way we work out the experiences which words elude, how we learn from them, and bravely allow ourselves to be transformed by them, even when our normal modes of thinking cannot make sense of them” (Richard Rohr). This is a practice of being present and allowing our mind, heart, soul and senses to be open and receptive to the moment, just as it is.

This class is lead by parishioner Jeff Wise. Jeff has a Master of Arts in Theology and Biblical Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary in California. He and his family have attended St. Paul’s for five years. Questions, please email Jeff.
